A submission in the Opinion section of the Jan 20 edition of the Republic contends that CNN is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party. While there may be a grain of truth to that, it is more than offset by the pound of mouthpiece statements uttered by Fox news on behalf of Donald Trump. Nonetheless, I agree that it would be nice if all news outfits would stick to the principle of objective reporting and not even be perceived as being a mouthpiece for any political party, or any organization for that matter.
